I haven't run into any problems with finding new info every week. There are so many different things you need to know how to do in dance. Like this week I did needles because usually when you can do a scorpion, you can do a needle as well.
Arabesques are a move in ballet that is important to know. Doing an arabesque isn't too hard, as long as you use correct technique you can make it look great. You don't have to be super flexible to do one either, just as long as you do it right it will look good.Pirouettes are one of the most important things to know how to do for dance and to know how to do correctly. To do a single pirouette isn't too hard, you just have to make sure you have correct form and everything will go smoothly. When you get better at doing singles, you can try doubles.I chose to do grand battements today because they are an important kick to learn and be able to do well. I posted a website with a helpful video with good tips on how to execute one correctly. I also posted a youtube video with great tips by a pro.
This week I focused on how to improve your turn out. Turn out is one of the most important things in dance, mostly ballet, to try to get better and better at. As you get a better turn out, executing different ballet moves will become easier and make them look nicer. Unless you're born with a perfect 180 degree turn out, it's important to keep working on it.
This week the focus is on front walkovers. Front walkovers are a great skill to have for dance and gymnastics. Having your front walkover requires a good bridge and you should have good splits also. I linked a great video with step by step instructions and exercises to do. I also linked a how to website with steps, stretches, and more exercises to do. As long as you follow the instructions and have a spotter watching you, you should be able to learn how to do a front walkover in time.
I chose back bends this week because they will help stretch and help make your back more flexible. Doing a back bend can be harder for some because their backs aren't as flexible as others, but if you do the stretches and practice you'll get it. The video I picked will help with teaching you different ways and techniques to learn.

The video I chose to use has a lot of important stretches to do and helpful tips for getting your scorpion. I liked the how to website I linked because it has pictures to help you make sure you're doing the move right. To get your scorpion it's important to stretch everyday and try it out until you get better and better at it.
For this week I chose to do tilts. Tilts are an important thing to know how to do for dance. The video I picked is a good resource because it not only shows you the correct way to do a tilt, but also stretches to do also. The how to link is also good because it shows you what partner stretches to do. I didn't have any difficulties in finding good info on tilts. There are many different resources on tilts, I chose the ones I would use and that I liked best.
For this week I chose to focus on chin/chest stands. There are tons of videos and pictures for them. It was hard to choose just a few, but I picked the ones that I thought were the best and showed the best examples of a chin stand.
